GIVING HOPE THROUGH ENGLISH

Summer in the USA (SUSA) is an organization that offers opportunities to study English with native English speaking families in the United States. Every summer we organize several month long trips for young people of the Basque Country to various parts of the USA for the purpose of them improving their English. We believe that this level of immersion is the best way to learn any language.

STEP 1: APPLY

Applying to be a host family is a simple process, but one we take seriously to ensure safety for both families and students. We screen all families and require references from churches in the regions that we work in the USA

STEP 2: HOST

A month hosting a student from Basque Country is a lot of work, but is a rewarding month. Your world will be expended as you discover a new culture and are able to share God's love and hospitality with a student.

STEP 3: GIVE HOPE

While opening your home to a student you will help them improve their English which helps them improve their life and career. Sharing language and culture expands the world of both you and your student and brings hope to Basque Country.
